Public Health Nursing
Our initiatives offers a range of essential services including wellness clinics that focus on preventive care, comprehensive blood pressure screenings to monitor cardiovascular health, personalized health counseling to address individual needs, and other supportive resources.
Food Safety
Food safety inspections are essential guardians of public health, ensuring that the food we consume on our beautiful islands is safe, hygienic, and prepared with the utmost care, so every meal can be enjoyed with peace of mind.
Tick Borne Illness Prevention
The Martha’s Vineyard Tick-borne Illness Reduction Initiative, or Tick Program, aims to decrease ticks and tick-borne illnesses on Martha’s Vineyard through education, advocacy, and collaboration with other organizations and individuals.
Environmental Health
We ensure safe and healthy environments by monitoring and regulating environmental factors that impact public health, such as water quality, air quality, insect-borne diseases, septic system safety, PFAS, and more.
